Randy Wachtler, Pres./CEO of 615 Music, hosted a fundraiser gala for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society as part of his campaign for the non-profit’s Nashville’s Man of the Year 2008. Phil Vassar, Lee Roy Parnell, Larry Stewart (Restless Heart), and Dave Berg performed at the intimate event at Wachtler’s home. Guests included music industry friends, Titans coach Jeff Fisher and NFL star Neil O’Donnell.
Wachtler is raising funds in honor of his late mother, Joyce Morton, who died from Leukemia at age 44; 13-year-old Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia patient Jamie Grace Dubois, daughter of music executive Tim Dubois; and 18-year-old musician Ben Bjork, a 10-year survivor of B-cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma.
“It’s always an honor to help raise money for a great cause, especially when it hits so close to home,” Larry said. Tim Dubois is the founder/co-producer of Restless Heart.
Through May 30, contributions to Wachtler’s campaign can be made online (click here to donate) and by mail, made payable to LLS c/o 615 Music Companies, 1030 16th Ave. S., Nashville, TN 37212.

I would have loved to have been there! I was a Larry Stewart fan before I realized he was and is part of Restless Heart. Even though I have been to several RH concerts in the last couple of years (they were all great) I have wanted to see a Larry Stewart concert for a very long time.

Saw you guys in Bardstown, KY…front row seats…you sound better than ever and what a great venue! Getting to hear some of my most favorite songs LIVE was awesome…I still remember all the words! Thanks for the fun!
I saw you all in concet in Oklahoma @ the Creek Nation Casino. I loved the song you all sang about the soldier. I think it was called Home. Brought tears to my eyes. I have also served and am currently waiting for my husband to return. Please let me know where I can find that song. Thanks.

Awesome job Lar, take it from someone who works for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, we appreciate the time folks give to help people like Randy who are willing to raise the money for the patients and their families and for research. So sad to hear the Tim Dubois(s?) daughter has been stricken with Leukemia (the #1 cancer killer of folks under the age of 20)
Thanks for being a part of a great fundraising event!
