For those of you who haven’t been lucky enough to see a live show recently– Restless Heart will be performing in concert in Gatlinburg, TN on October 24th & 25th. The shows will be in Mills Auditorium in the Gatlinburg Convention Center with show time at 8pm Eastern time, nightly. Since Gatlinburg is centrally located, plan to make this a time to meet and re-connect with old friends and Restless Heart fans from all over the area. The Tennessee mountains, autumn leaves and Restless Heart. It doesn’t get any better than that!

Acoustic Performance… Close to Home

A special acoustic performance by Restless Heart is scheduled for October 17th in the concert hall at the Renaissance Center in Dickson, TN. This special event will benefit the Nashville area Habitat for Humanity and includes a silent auction. Auction items– including sports memorabilia, vacation and golf packages and restaurant and gift certificates– will be on display all day, October 17th, in the rotunda of the building.

General admission tickets are available in advance from the Dickson Division office of Nashville Area Habitat for Humanity, all TriStar Bank locations and the Dickson Apothecary. Tickets will also be available at the door and, if you act quickly, special VIP tickets, which include priority seating, are also available.

Auction Success

The charity auction held in conjunction with the Triple Threat performance in Spokane on Sunday, September 14th raised nearly $3,000 for the Van Stephenson Memorial Cancer Research Fund. Members of all 3 groups– Restless Heart, Blackhawk and Little Texas— donated personal items and rare memorabilia to help raise funds for this worthy cause. According to Blackhawk’s Henry Paul, on stage before the show–each year, a donation is made to cancer research in honor of Van Stephenson’s memory. Van was a founding member of Blackhawk and a cherished friend to members of all 3 groups. The next fundraising event is the 3rd Annual Dinner with Blackhawk in Medina, MN, planned for November 14th. Restless Heart joins Darryl Worley for the 7th Annual Tennessee River Run

Restless Heart will join good friends Keith Anderson and Darryl Worley at Darryl’s annual fundraising bash, The Tennessee River Run. The fun filled event will kick off with a Bass & Catfish Fishing Tournament and Boat Poker Run on September 6, 2008… and conclude with a Gospel Concert on Sunday, September 14 in Savannah, Tennessee. Now in its seventh year, the River Run has grown to an event spanning nine days and boasting an attendance of over 20,000 with all proceeds benefitting the Darryl Worley Foundation and other vitally important charities.

The Run has become one of the most anticipated events of the year in West Tennessee and the surrounding areas, and this year’s event steps up the entertainment value with a rock concert headlined by 38 Special and special guest Floord on Friday, September 12. The following night features the grand finale country concert with scheduled special guests Restless Heart, Point of Grace, Keith Anderson and of course, Darryl Worley! Point of Grace will also headline the Sunday Gospel Show, which will also include Geron Davis and Kindred Souls.
